Support Earth Observation Australia

Help strengthen Australia’s Earth observation community

Earth Observation Australia (EOA) brings together people and organisations working in Earth observation across Australia, spanning research, government, industry and education.

Through the Australian Earth Observation Forum, community events, working groups and other activities, EOA provides opportunities to connect, share knowledge and work together to strengthen Australia's Earth observation capabilities.

EOA is a not-for-profit organisation supported by volunteers. Our new EOA Supporter Program offers individuals and organisations a simple way to contribute financially to the activities and infrastructure that sustain our community.

Becoming a supporter is entirely voluntary. EOA membership remains free, and everyone is welcome to participate in our community activities, whether or not they contribute financially.

The Supporter Program is also an opportunity to stay connected with EOA’s work, and contribute ideas for its future development.

Supporter activities include quarterly online sessions, regular updates and opportunities to provide feedback as EOA reviews its community engagement and membership arrangements. Additional activities may be offered as volunteer capacity permits.

Staying connected

The Supporter Program is separate from EOA’s free membership, and does not confer additional membership, voting or governance rights.

Financial support is entirely optional. Whether you become a supporter or not, you're welcome to remain involved in EOA and its community activities.

Open to everyone

Your contribution helps EO maintain and develop the foundations of its community activities, including our website, communications, administration and the infrastructure needed to connect people across Australia.

By becoming a supporter, you’re helping EOA remain an active, independent forum for Australia's Earth observation community.

Become an EOA supporter

For individuals who value EOA's work and want to help sustain its activities.

Individual Supporters receive supporter updates, are invited to participate in regular online supporter sessions, and may choose to be acknowledged on the EOA website.

Individual Supporter: AUD $100 per year (inc GST)

Organisational Supporter: from AUD $1,000 per year (plus GST)

For businesses, research institutions, government agencies, and other organisations wishing to support EOA and the wider Australian Earth observation community.

Organisational Supporters may nominate up to five contacts to participate in supporter activities and receive updates. With their consent, supporting organisations may also be acknowledged by name and logo on the EOA website.
