The Department of the Environment and Energy are currently seeking candidates with expertise in remote sensing, spatial systems and data science for several positions in the Environmental Resources Information Network Branch (ERIN). All positions will be based in Canberra.
 
There are three positions available:
 

  • Remote Sensing Specialist

  • Spatial Systems Officer

  • Senior Data Analytics Officer

Post-doc positions in Remote Sensing, UAVs and Precision Agriculture

The Hydrology, Agriculture and Land Observation (HALO) lab at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia is seeking to fill a number of post-doctoral positions across a range of exciting research topics. Candidates should have experience and training in at least two areas of agro-hydrological modeling, machine learning, high-resolution remote sensing or the application of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Applicants will ideally have prior experience in product or process retrieval (hydrological, agricultural or vegetation), the use of advanced remote sensing analysis techniques (i.e. data integration and analytics), as well as a strong background in programming and modeling.
