Consultancy opportunity for UN Global Environmental Facility (GEF-STAP) on Remote Sensing

Global Environmental Facility

Scientific and Technical Advisory Panel

GEF STAP is recruiting a short-term Consultant to help write an advisory document on mainstreaming EO data into GEF program and project design, implementation and monitoring. The announcement specifies the task and requirements (education/experience) but essentially they are looking for someone with a background in remote sensing/GIS and who understands (and has demonstrated experience) how spatial data can be applied to develop and monitor a range of projects of interest to the GEF (e.g. biodiversity, water, land degradation, etc.). The contract is administered by UNOPS and the application closing date is April 7.
