Queensland Government Seeking Principal Scientist (Remote Sensing)

The Remote Sensing Centre in the Queensland Department of Environment and Science is seeking suitably skilled and qualified applicants for a position which provides leadership, scientific and technical direction to a team of remote sensing scientists who assess, map and monitor Queensland’s landscapes. The successful applicant will lead scientific research, development and operational programs (e.g. ground cover, crop and fire monitoring) that inform and support Great Barrier Reef catchment water quality, drought and climate adaptation, best management grazing practice and other Queensland Government policies and land management programs.
